Condition

Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the wood presents with rich figuring and great nuances. The wood surfaces have been sensitively revarnished and present with minor surface scratches, minor abrasions, and minor areas of discoloration consistent with age and gentle use. The back of one chair with minor discoloration probably from light exposure. The proper left armrest of one chair with a small restoration to the exterior edge where the armrest meets the seat, measuring approximately 1 inch in height and only visible upon close inspection. The bottom portions of the legs with a few expected concentrated abrasions, not visually distracting. The reverse of one feet on each chair with some remnants of white adhesive residue, and the reverse of one foot with a minor chip to the veneer, not visually distracting. The armchairs have been reupholstered at some point in the history of the pieces and the upholstery is in good condition with light surface dirt consistent with gentle use. A great design by Eugene Printz, rare to appear at auction and which epitomizes Printz's cubist inspiration.
