Condition

Overall in excellent original condition. When viewed in person, the vase presents with strong presence and is more purple than seen in the catalogue illustration. The glass with a few minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually distracting. The surfaces present with a few isolated and minor surface scratches, minor surface soiling and light wear to the gilding consistent with age and gentle handling. A great work by Burgun Schverer, the condition reflects the care of the previous owner. The delicately hammered areas complements beautifully the intricate form.
