Condition
Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the glass presents with an intricate enameled decoration which presents with vivid colors, even brighter than seen in the catalogue illustration. The glass with a few minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually distracting. The surfaces with minor wear to the enameled and gilt decoration and a few very light surface scratches consistent with age and gente handling. One of the gilt cabochon at 3/4 of the height with a minor chip along the lower edge, not visually distracting. A very rare design by Emile Galle. The dancer presents with great delicacy and movement when viewed in person. The cabochons around the base of the vase engraved with motifs of dogs and swans.
