Overall very good condition commensurate with age and use. Minor staining to the vellum surfaces with minor seam separation to the corners, as visible in the printed and online catalogues. One seam has been filled with a thin strip of vellum. Minor oxidation to the brass and pewter elements, with lifting to the brass stringing surrounding the roundels. A few very minor losses to the brass stringing scattered throughout and are not visually distracting in our opinion. The wooden elements possessing signs of wear with minor marks, scratches and scuffs, concentrated to the ebonised surfaces. Four of the columns between the surface and stretchers are missing, with minor separation evident throughout. One angled column in the corner is missing as visible in the printed and online catalogues. Overall a fine example of Bugatti furniture which has been carefully looked after throughout its life.
