Condition

Overall very good original condition. The bookcase presents with a slightly warmer, more red hue than in the catalogue illustration. The oak appears to retain its original finish. The wood surfaces with scattered surface scratches, abrasions and areas of discoloration, consistent with age and gentle use. The proper right front side of the cabinet with a horizontal scuff just below the lower hinge, measuring approximately 3 1/4 inches long, visible in the catalogue illustration. The proper right side of the bookcase with two scuffs at approximately one-third height from the ground, one measuring approximately 2 1/2 inches, the other 3 1/2 inches long. The proper left side with a small trace of green house paint at approximately mid height, only visible upon close inspection. The bookcase interior and three adjustable shelves all in very good condition. The glass in very good condition with scattered light surface scratches. The copper elements in good condition, with light surface scratches and abrasions, scattered traces of oxidation, and light soiling to the recessed areas.
