Condition

Overall in good original condition. When viewed in person the leather top presents with a redder color than seen in the catalogue illustration. The oak surfaces throughout appear to have retained their original finish, which has been sensitively waxed. The oak surfaces throughout with some surface scratches, abrasions and edge wear with some associated losses, consistent with age and gentle use. One of the legs with a few age cracks to one side, some of them have been filled in. The top presents with surface scratches, wear, abrasions, discoloration and some stains from use, visible in the catalogue illustration. The perimeter of the top with a few small losses and few areas where the leather has been stabilized and restored along the lower edge. The top has retained its original tacks, which presents with some wear and rubbing. A rare example with strong presence when viewed in person.
