When viewed non-illuminated, the shade presents with nuances of pale blue, bright green and dark red background with highlights of bright yellow accentuating the floral decoration. The glass with some minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually disruptive. The surface of the glass with some minor surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. The gilt bronze surfaces with minor surface dirt to the recessed areas, minor surface scratches, a few minor abrasions, light rubbing to the gilding with minor pitting consistent with age and gentle handling. The three brackets are slightly bent, which does not affect the stability of the lamp and shade. The lamp is currently fitted with a single socket fitted for a bayonet-style bulb. The lamp is electrically stable and fitted with a US plug. A beautiful example with delicately rendered applied dragonfly decoration to the shade. The bronze frogs and water lily leaves of the base complement harmoniously the floral design of the shade.
