Overall in very good original condition. When viewed in person, the vase displays an intense ruby-like color on a milky background. The glass with some air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making. The glass surfaces with minor surface scratches and light surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. The aquatic landscape harmoniously complements Victor Hugo’s poetry.
