Condition
Overall in good condition. The Fruitwood and wood species used to execute the floral marquetry and the linear parquetry display rich figuring and a highly saturated color palette, as shown in the catalogue illustration. The proper left side corner of the lid with a restoration, with resin reconstructing the original molding and minor chip to the resin. The proper left hinge has been replaced with a minor associated loss to the adjacent veneer, measuring approximately 1 ½ in. in length.
