Condition

Overall in good condition. The gilded surfaces present with gilt nuances and red hues to recessed areas when viewed in person. The bronze surfaces with a few surface scratches, minor abrasions and surface dirt consistent with age and gentle handling. The gilding is original and with presence of later gilding enhancement. With minor rubbing consistent with gentle handling, mostly concentrated to the raised portions of the design. The foundry mark is different on each lamp, indicating that this is an associated pair. Two sculptural lamps with great presence and beautiful scale when viewed first-hand.
