Overall in very good condition. With some scattered small to minute air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. The lower bowl with what appears to be one slightly larger oblong collapsed air bubble, also inherent in the making and not visually detracting. The vase interior and underside of the foot are beautifully iridized, heightening the luminosity and coloration of the vase. With minor pooling of the iridescence (fine dark red spotting) in the bottom vase interior and the recessed contours of the upper rim, inherent in the making as a result of the iridescence application and not visually detracting. A beautiful example displaying strong sculptural form and elegantly refined proportion. The catalogue photography does not sufficiently capture the full articulation and nuance of the decoration and coloration.
