Overall in very good condition. The favrile glass base and shade with a few very light and minor surface scratches. The gilt metal harp with expected surface wear, traces of surface residue and discolorations consistent with age and gentle use. The socket appears to be original and undisturbed; the gilt pull chain is possibly replaced and lacks an end terminal. The gilt heat cap appears to be period and shows gentle surface wear. The lamp is presently not electrified and will require re-wiring. The underside of the base with an old paper label numbered 10. A gorgeous example displaying beautifully rendered decoration and strong coloration. The exterior surfaces are fully iridized, imparting the shade and base with strong luminous color in a range of brilliant jewel-tone hues. When viewed firsthand the shade and base show far more artistic nuance than seen in the catalogue photograph and the shade is slightly less red in coloration.
