Condition
Overall in good condition. The patinated metal portion of the table with surface dirt to the recessed portions, surface abrasion and minor chips to the enamel consistent with gentle use. One of the spiral decoration is slightly indented which could easily be fixed. The slate top with light surfaces scratches consistent with gentle use and with very minute scattered chips along the edges, most of them likely inherent to the manufacture. The slate top rests on a wooden platform with gilt leaf edges. A very nice example of Paul Evans’s work.
