Condition

Overall in good condition. When viewed in person, the wood displays a slightly less red color than seen in the catalogue illustration with rich figuring and a large range of colors from blond to russet brown. The wood surfaces with a few minor surface scratches, minor edge abrasions and light surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. The seat with a few water stains to the proper left. A beautiful example of Nakashima's work.
