Condition

Overall in very good original condition. When viewed firsthand, the work presents with a more nuanced orange ocher color, less red than in the catalogue illustration, with blue and violets highlights. The glass with a few minute air bubbles inherent in the making and not visually distractive. The glass surfaces with some minor shallow surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. The largest piece with a minor burst air bubble to the edge along approximately ½ in. and not at all visually distracting. An extraordinary work, with a great association of opaque and contrasting colors and a wonderful iridized tone to the interior.
