Condition
Overall in very good condition. The favrile glass stalactite shade is in excellent condition, with very light surface scratches around the recessed contour of the neck (just below the rim) from continued surface contact over time with the bronze mount. The decoration on the shade is beautifully rendered, and the outer surfaces fully iridized, imparting the shade with strong luminous color when viewed with reflected light. The top aperture is in very good condition with no chips or flecks. With later replacement hardware executed in a brown and green patina, the design faithful to Tiffany Studios hardware. A very elegant ceiling light with refined proportions and lyrical decoration.
