The interior rim with a few tiny successive vertical tool marks, also inherent in the making and only noticeable upon very close inspection. The upper region of the vase interior with a few small open collapsed air bubbles, also inherent in the making and not visually detracting. The exterior of the vase with a few light surface scratches at the midsection and below the upper shoulder. The underbase with traces of a white surface residue. The vase interior with light surface soiling. A particularly attractive example displaying impressive scale and a gorgeous rich coloration. The rich teal ground is quite unusual and elegant, providing a dynamic contrast to the vibrant chartreuse green trailing leaves and vines. The vase displays beautifully with strong visual impact and movement. When viewed firsthand the coloration is richer and deeper than seen in the catalogue illustration.
