Overall in condition consistent with use. The glass with minor air bubbles and minor particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually distractive. The glass surfaces with a few shallow surface scratches consistent with age and handling. As stated in the catalogue description, there is a chip along the edge of the back of the circular base, measuring approximately ½ in high x 1 ½ long, partially hidden when the glass is inset in the bronze base. The base is original and fitted with a bulb. The bronze surfaces with minor surface scratches, minor wear and tarnishing to the patina consistent with age and gentle handling. This centerpiece is electrically stable and currently fitted with a US plug. A good opportunity to acquire an iconic design by Lalique.
