Condition

Good overall condition. When viewed in person, the colors of the carpet are even more intense and rich than in the catalogue illustration. Pile ranges from good, near original, approximately ½ inch throughout to low to 1/6 inch in left side of field. Pile low to knotheads along lower edge. A few scattered spot stains and surface dirt. Red slightly bleeding into ivory areas in places. Flatwoven ends folded under and sewn. Sides with original three-cord well selvages. Flexible handle. A very decorative carpet of large scale and in great condition.
