Overall in good condition. The patinated iron with minor surface scratches, some minor abrasions and rubbing to the patina consistent with age and gentle use. The screen has possibly been repatinated and the wire mesh replaced at some point in the history of the piece. The mesh with some minor scattered losses and tears consistent with use and visible in the catalogue illustration. A beautiful work which displays Edgar Brandt’s refined curves and harmonious proportions.
