Condition

Overall in good condition. The wood presents with beautiful figuring and a rich range of colors. The wooden surfaces have been sensitively refinished and present with surface scratches, some edge abrasions and light surface dirt consistent with age and use. The veneer with evidence of drying throughout, consistent with age. The backrest with some scattered evidences of restoration to the veneer, not at all visually distractive. Some of the joints with minor separation which have been reinforced in some cases, and which does not affect the solidity and stability of the structure. The front proper right leg of an armchair with evidence of a prior restoration, which does not affect the stability of the structure. The bronze surfaces with surface scratches, minor abrasions, rubbing to the gilding and surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. On two armchairs and one chair, one of the upper bronze elements with more important wear to the gilding. The proper left bronze sabots of an armchair is loose, to be reattached . The chairs have been reupholstered and the upholstery is in very good condition with minor surface dirt and light wear consistent with use. A very large group in very good condition.
