Condition
Overall in good condition. The wood has been sensitively refinished and presents with minor surface scratches, minor edge abrasions and light surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. The wooden surfaces with a few minor discoloration and surface stains, not at all visually distractive. Minor discoloration of the wood from sun exposure. One of the armchair with a minor restoration along the upper edge backrest at the front center, only visible upon close inspection. The varnish with minor signs of drying throughout. The bronze with minor rubbing to the gilding, some surface scratches, a few minor abrasions and minor evidences of oxidation and surface dirt consistent with age and use. The armchairs have been reupholstered and the upholstery is in good condition with minor surface dirt consistent with age and use. A rare opportunity to acquire eight chairs from the Normandie Ocean Liner in great condition.
