Overall in very good condition, the drawing displays a slightly less yellow tone than in the catalogue illustration, with delicate pink highlights to the cheeks. Not examined out of frame. Some faint light and mat stain to sheet, some minor scattered areas of foxing visible. A few faint handling marks.
The work is sold within a frame which is in good condition with minor surface scratches consistent with age and gentle use. Please contact the department for additional photographs showing the work with its frame. A beautiful and delicate work which epitomizes Dupas' talent for representing graceful feminine figures.
