Condition
Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the body of the owl presents with a saturated green color, even more intense than seen in the catalogue illustration. The glaze with a few minor surface irregularities and open air bubbles inherent in the making and not visually disruptive. The surfaces with some surface dirt and a few surface scratches consistent with age and gentle use. The edge of the base with a few surface chips, some of them visible in the catalogue illustration. The circular base has been applied with a black glaze which covers these chips. A very impressive piece with strong presence and great scale when viewed first-hand.
