Overall in very good condition. The central riser of the flower bowl (which is concealed by the flower insert) with a small previously ground chip (approximately 1/2 x 1/4 inch) to the top rim, and a few very small to minute adjacent surface flecks to the top rim. When the flower insert is installed none of these minor issues are visible. The underside of the flower bowl with light surface scratches. The flower insert is in very good condition, showing light surface wear to the bottom interior commensurate with gentle use. The interior of the flower bowl displays superbly articulated decoration to the Lily Pads and particularly rich saturated color. The exterior is beautifully iridized, displaying a brilliant range of luminous jewel-tone hues. A beautiful example displaying outstanding decoration and color. The range of colors is much more vibrant and nuanced than seen in the catalogue photograph.
