Condition

Overall very good condition. A small segment of the petrified wood on the larger surface detached from its original location and has been professionally and sensitively restored.

Catalogue Note

Designed circa 1970, this model was executed from the first time in 2010 under the guidance of Philippe Hiquily. Although originally intended as an edition of 3 and 2 artist's proofs, only two artist's proofs were ever executed. The first of which was sold in a version with glass shelves at Sotheby's, Paris, 22 November, 2011, lot 215.

This present lot has been authenticated by the Hiquily Committee, from which a certificate can be obtained on request.
