This work is in very good condition. Upon close inspection, a tiny pain chip can be noticed on the centre of the top edge.
Colours:

"Fahrelnissa’s painting seems to engage in the enumeration of strange populations committed to a perpetual nomadism, which she presents in a light which is no less strange, one which turns from purple to violet, the reds and the blues ringed with violent blacks, as heavy as the lead in a stained-glass window. The light itself is exactly the fabulous – orientally fabulous – light of a Gothic stained-glass window.”
