Condition
This work is in fairly good condition. There is a thin layer of dirt on the surface of the painting.
Some light areas of brown retouching across the work, applied most probably by the artist. Some minor horizontal craquelure along the center line. The canvas is slack and can easily be restretched by a professional. A restorers condition report is available upon request.
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, with the overall tonality being slightly softer and the reds being slightly darker.
