Condition
Oil on canvas laid on board. The board is flat and even. There is some rubbing along the framing edge, mostly covered by the frame. Ultra-violet light reveals traces of old discoloured varnish which make it difficult to see possible retouching, with the exception of some old strokes along the lower centre edge. The work is overall in good condition and ready to hang. Presented in a gilt frame.
