Provenance

Private collection, Georgia

Condition

The canvas has not been lined. There are small spots of flaking in the flowers to the lower edge, however this is stable. Ultra-violet light reveals a thick layer of varnish which prevents it from fully penetrating; however there are some areas, notably in the upper left, which fluoresce darker and could be associated to old restoration. This work is otherwise in good condition. Presented and sold unframed.
