Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There is a pattern of very fine craquelure - however not distracting to the naked eye. Some small scattered dark spots are visible in the background closer to the upper right corner. Ultraviolet light reveals areas of fluorescence of uneven varnish and small clusters of retouching in the lower right corner and some fine lines along the left edge.
The work is overall in good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
