Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There is some fine scattered craquelure which appears to be stable, notably in the sky, and two faint stretcher marks to the centre of the composition. The canvas is also slightly undulated to the upper left corner. Ultra-violet light reveals no sign of retouching.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a white inner slip and a nameplate.
