Condition
The canvas has been lined. There are scattered fine lines of craquelure, notably in the sky, however not visually distracting. Ultra-violet light reveals some scattered strokes of retouching along the upper right, upper left and upper framing edge, some spots in the sky and some very carefully applied lines in the centre of the composition. The work is overall in good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
