The canvas has not been lined. Some light frame rubbing is visible along the extreme lower and upper edge. There is one small spot of flaking in the tree foliage near the left edge and a pattern of craquelure throughout, notably in the sky and along the vertical stretcher bar. Ultra-violet light reveals a couple of very small scattered spots of fluorescence possibly relating to retouching or to minor disturbance in the varnish. The surface is dirty and would benefit from professional cleaning. The work is otherwise in good condition and ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame with severe frame losses.
