Condition

Lined. Finely patterned craquelure visible throughout along with a faint horizontal stretcher bar mark across center. A few scattered flecks of paint loss concentrated around and in the blue skirt of figure at right. Under UV: Old varnish fluoresces green. Strokes of inpainting to address aforementioned stretcher bar mark, in face of figure at right, and costume of figure at left. Lines of inpainting in background between figures' heads, including a 2.5 inch vertical line and a 2 by 2 inch area of inpainting at center of left and right edges. Fine strokes of inpainting in upper right background to address craquelure and at lower right edge to address frame abrasion.
