Overall the condition of the bronze is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The flagpole is a little loose. There is minor dark spotting to the bronze and a few larger patches of dirt including to Joan's proper right arm and sash. There is minor wear to the high points including to the proper right hand. There is wear to the terrasse including at the signature. There are minor nicks and scratches to the edges of the terrasse. The top of the flagpole is bent. There is a stable original horizontal joint running through the abdoment and thighs and seat.
