Condition

Overall, the condition of the bronze is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The bronze was cast in sections, and joints are very slightly visible to the bottom of both antlers, to the lower part of the neck, and around all feet. There is very minor rubbing to the patina at some of the high points. There are a few minor areas of scratching, including to the tail and the antlers. A minor fissure is slightly visible at the proper right antler.
