Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is minor rubbing to the patina at some of the high points. There is some orange staining to the patina in a few areas, notably to the woman's proper right arm and hand, and to the top of her head. There is some minor dark spotting in a few areas, including to the baby's feet. There are a few small lacunae in the crevices. There are a few minor nicks and scratches, including to the woman's proper right elbow.
The bronze is attached to the base with a metal mount, inscribed: DEPOSE BUHL BTE SGDG.
There is wear, including chips, around the edges of the base.
