Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a small hole to the body of the hog, in front of Diana's feet; this may have supported a now-lost attribute. There is minor dark spotting to the patina in several areas. There are a few further small dark marks on the underside of her breast on the proper right side, on her proper right shoulder and on her proper left elbow. The strap of the quiver was cast in sections and joints are visible on the reverse. A small rectangular casting patch is slightly visible at Diana's proper right upper arm. There are a few very minor scratches, including to the proper left shoulder. The marble base is in a good condition with some minor chips on the edges.
