Description
- Louis Riche
- Cat with her three kittens
- signed: L. RICHE
- veined yellow marble
Condition
Overall the condition of the marble is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is veining to the marble throughout consistent with the material, and a few veins have been filled, including one to the back of the mother cat. It is possible that there are a few minor restorations to the tips of the ears, but this could also be veining in the marble. There are a few minor chips and abrasions, in particular around the bottom edge.
