Condition

Overall the condition of the bronzes is good, with some dirt and wear to the surfaces consistent with age. There is rubbing to the patina at the high points, including to the faces. There are a few minor nicks and scratches, including to Charles's proper left sleeve and Cromwell's proper left elbow. There is some minor greening in a few areas, including around Charles's proper right leg and Cromwell's back. Cromwell's sword is very slightly loose but stable. The bases rock slightly on an even surface. There is minor wear to the paintwork and there are a few nicks.
