Condition

Overall the condition of the marble is good with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age, including some specks of yellow paint to the proper forearm. There are a few small chips and losses, including to the goat's proper left ear, to the drapery at the back, and to the edges of the base. There is minor veining and a few small naturally occurring inclusions to the marble consistent with the material. There is a small filled hole to the top of the head. The marble would benefit from a professional cleaning.
