Condition

Overall the condition of the sculpture is good with some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age with some particular dirt to the agate orb. There are some remnants of silver polish in the crevices, particularly around the hands as well as some tarnishing to the silvering in the crevices. The bronze section of the socle has some wear to the patina. There is some scratching to the top edge of the serpentine base and an area of restoration to its lower edge on the reverse.
