Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some dryness to the patina, in particular to the proper left side of the face and the hair, to her proper right side, to her back, and to both arms. There is some rubbing to the patina at the high points, including the hair, the tip of the nose, and the fingers. An original stable casting joint is slightly visible at the proper left upper arm. There are a few minor nicks and scratches, including to the proper left foot.
There is some wear to the marble base, including an area of abrasions at the bottom edge at the front. There is another chip at the top edge on the proper left side where an open vein appears to have been filled. There are a few further minor chips and filled veins.
