Condition

Overall in largely original condition and displaying typical signs of wear. The chair is sound and sturdy. The ebonised wood and decoration with some losses to the varnished surface notably to the back rail and front saber legs. The upholstery to the seat is original and shows signs of wear and patched replacements which may benefit from conservation according to taste. With old marks and scratches commensurate with age and use.
