- Giovanni Battista Discepoli called Zoppo da Lugano
- A standing monk in profile, possibly a study for St. Bernard of Menthon
- Black and white chalk on blue paper;
bears illegible inscription, upper right and numbering, lower right: 30
Condition
Blue paper has faded. Some brown staining. There is a horizontal band of discolouration running across the lower half of the sheet. The chalk remains strong and vibrant and overall image is good.
