Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is an old lacquer to the surface, which has worn away in areas, such as at the tips of the wings, at the proper left knee, at the arms, belly and buttocks. There are some minor scratches to the patina, including to Cupid's back and proper left arm. There is general spotting, and some white and green marks to the base. There are some green residues to the underside. There are a few small lacunae in the flames. There is dirt to Cupid's proper right eye. There is a nick or flaw to the left side of the base.
