With Colnaghi, London (as Agostino Carracci).
Condition
The canvas has an old relining. The paint surface is secure and has traces of good quality impasto. The colours remain strong. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals few, small scattered retouching throughout the composition, particularly in the flesh tones and along the left hand margin. Overall the work is in good condition.
The work is sold in a molded gilt frame, with a few knocks.
