painted in high-temperature colours and in late Renaissance style with a vignette of cherubs at play on a grassy bank, flanked by exotic birds and grotesque ornament, the rim with a dark blue-ground border of masks and scrolling foliage, crowned Ginori mark and 121-720 in blue, incised letter N
Condition
A Doccia Ginori factory faience dish, late 19th century
There are small flakes to the glaze on the rim at 12 o'clock and 5 o'clock.
