Description

  • An enclosure for a Monstrance, with Corinthian columns, figures symbolising the Trinity and angels
  • Pen and brown ink and wash over black chalk, mounted on album page;
    scale in black chalk at lower margin, inscribed with numbers 1-10, in black chalk, along the left margin and inscribed in black chalk, lower centre:  et cet echelle est pour les figures parceque ils sont trouvées trop grandes

Condition

Laid down on album page. Some staining around the edges of the sheet. Uneven at the left margin. Overall in good condition - pen and ink and wash strong and vibrant. Sold in a modern frame.
